The beautiful print TOGETHER celebrates Aboriginal Cultures & Adventurous Women. 

This pattern is about people, no matter what colour, size, young or old,

we are all here,  TOGETHER.

A message from the Artist Ryhia Dank...

I am Gudanji/Wakaja, a contemporary Aboriginal woman who grew up in a NT community and now live on the Sunshine Coast. My skin colour does not define me rather, my history, family and my experiences inform my identity. 

I am also my Dad’s daughter so I have English/Irish and Spanish/Austrian heritage and spent holidays surfing on the Gold Coast with my paternal grandparents. It is important, as it has all contributed to who I am.

I call my storying Nardurna. It means woman in my language.

Our big story is about three women who came from the ocean near Ngukurr in the Gulf of Carpentaria. They travelled a long way and then created our place, the hills and fresh water Country. The three lines on my brand are to acknowledge those three women who made our place and then made us.

I am linked to that story and it links me to my place because as my granny said,

Ngurruwani Gudanji-marndi maga guda gurijba iligirra gamamjani

(Gudanji people are from the fresh water and hill country)

It's super supportive with a thick elasticated band under the bust and thicker shoulder straps, the tie up back can also be tied in two ways depending on how much support you need. 

It doesn't compromise on being flattering either with the cute ruched detail on the bust.
